Writing process

When I created this poem, I was thinking of my life. I went to America about two years ago. And I think this experience I will never forget. So I decided to write about my experience of immigrantion. I began to creat my brain storm. It includes "Main idea", "Tone" and "Figurative language strategies (such as Similes or Metaphors)." My main idea is my feelings of living in the America. The tone is sadness and hopeness. My poem is tried to tell people that do not give up.
In my poem, I uses simile to describe my friends. They are very impotant for me. And I think that brain storm is pretty important because it really helps you to write something, like poem and essay. :D

poem

American dreams, shadow of a child disappeared
No friends, broken family, silent
Only can hear the sound of snow
It is so dark, I can't find the way,
Where should I go? (1-5)
I need to change, different language, different culture
Yes! I need new friends. I have to be happy.
But, how can I communicate with them?
Suddenly, I feel so disappointed, like a balloon is exploded
I miss my friends in China.
We smile together, also, we cry together.
They are like the best medicine to cure my pain (6-12)
I am thinking of my father.
He is the person who gives me the most love
His love always disappears in my brain,
Everyday, it says "Don't give up." to me.
Can't forget. (13-17)
Slowly, that child stood up.
He ran, faster and faster.
He saw the light of his life. (18-20)

#5 rescue

"Oh, the air is soooo fresh.!" Kate said and stretched her body. I looked at the sky, and imaged something would bring us home. "Hey, have you guys see Jack?" Tim asked Kate and me. "No.." we said. "Where is he? All groups have came back!!!" Tim said. "I don't know...let's wait a moment, maybe he'll come back very soon." I suggested. "If....if he can't...he will..will..." Kate began to cry.
"Don't worry. He'll be fine." Tim comforted her. "Are they all there?" "Yes!" "Ha ha" We heard some noisy from the forest. "What happened?" I asked. "Oh..it's Jack.He is speaking!" Kate said.
"Are you sure?" "Yes, I know it!"Mary said. After a minute, we saw Jack and some people who wear uniforms. "Hi! How are you guys doing? We will bring you back! Follow me, our helicopters are there!!" one of these people said. "Yeah, we'll go home!!" "Yes!" "Jack, what happened when you were in the forest?" I asked Jack. "I tried to find the way, and I met them. How lucky I was!" Jack said,"And sorry, Tim, I should believe you." "We are still friends, right?" "Of course!"

#4 conflict

"Let's go!" Tim said. I felt Tim was like a leader of our group. We followed him and walked. It was still hot. I began to think of myself. What should I do after going out the forest? What should I do?
Who will save us? We keep moving, "When can we go out?!!" Jack seemed unhappy. He stamped his foot, and looked at Tim. "We'll go out very quickly. I think we are very close." Tim said. "Very close? Damn it! I won't believe you any more!" Jack went to another way, and disappeared..."Should we follow him? Maybe he'll find the way." Kate said. "No! He's on his own. If you want to follow him, just do it!" Tim said. "We should be together, right, Kate? And I believe Tim will lead us to go out the forest." I tried to comfort Kate and myself. Kate nodded. Then we walked, but no one said anything.."Look, I remembered that! This way!" Tim appointed a tall tree.
After a moment, we came back!

"Yeah! That's a good idea!" We said together. Then we began to find the direction. "North...south...east..west...Let's try this way." Jack suggested. It was hot, the sun was so shine. I was very thirst and I felt I would faint at the next second. "Are you OK?" Tim asked. "I feel so terrible...Can we take a break?" I asked him. "All right..I think we should take a rest. What do you guys think?" Tim asked others. "Sure..I felt tired." Kate nodded. We sat under a big tree. I began to miss my family,my bed. I felt so sad, and I wanna cry...What should we do if we can't go out this forest forever? If no one will find us...If all of us will die.. I was so upset and hopeless..."I think we should go, and I believe that we'll get out of this forest!!" Tim said with strong confidence. Yes!! We will success, now I believe it!!!

There are a lot trees around us. I was so afraid if we would lose the way, and nobody could find us. "Look these bananas!" Kate appointed some green bananas. "That's great!!! Let's get some." Jack ran to there and tried to climbed the trees. "Are you sure we can eat these? Maybe we'll get toxic.." I said. "Of course not!! They're really bananas!!" Kate said.
"You're so afraid." Tim comforted me.
After a moment, we got some bananas, and went out the forest. "Oh my god! We've already walked this way" Jack said.
"I think so, I remembered this tree." Kate nodded. We lose the directions...What should we do???"Maybe we can accord the sun.Look the shadow of the trees. They are our directors!!"Tim said.

I was on a trip with my classmates. Suddenly, our airplane was crashed, I was so afraid. I caught my friends' hands tightly and closed my eyes. I felt the airplane was lower and lower, and its speed got faster and faster. Finally , we were fell down. My body pained a lot and my head was faint. It was so dark and hot, I tried going out. I succeeded!!!! I saw my classmates, not all. But we could not to save them, it was too dangerous. The airplane was beginning fire. At that moment, the sun raised, we were near the sea. And there is a forest opposite the sea. We thought we were in an island. After a short break, we began to search some food. We were divided to 3 groups. With my group, we went into the forest. The trees were so tall that we hardly saw the sun. There were many strange sounds around us. I was so afraid..
